Record of over 750 attended Rural Medicine Australia 2013
The peak national event for rural doctors this year attracted a record 750+ delegates to Cairns, Australia. Rural Medicine Australia 2013 provided delegates with a rich and diverse range of options, from clinical skills development and knowledge updates to the latest in research findings. It was strongly supported by 70 sponsors and exhibitors.

The conference was preceded by the inaugural World Summit on Rural Generalist Medicine, which brought together rural generalist doctors and policy experts from more than 20 countries. The findings from this seminal event will be published shortly.
Next year, Rural Medicine Australia 2014 will be held in Sydney in from 30 October to 1 November. The program will be developed and published in the New Year, based on the feedback of delegates who attended the 2013 event.
